Used Car of the Day: 1999 Nissan Frontier
Today we're keeping it simple with a clean-looking 1999 Nissan Frontier.
There's not a lot to report here -- this truck has the 3.3-liter V6 and 82,000 miles on it. It's a King Cab.
It has four-wheel drive and apparently it runs well, is rust free, and is unmodified. The A/C supposedly blows cold.
That's about all we have -- that and the price, which is $8,500.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

The owner has posted some tech questions regarding this truck over the past couple years. Only half a dozen or so posts, but provides a bit more insight. Wonder if he ever fixed that oil leak?
The only thing wrong with this truck is the transmission choice.
That's a really nice Truck. I prefer a stick but I can live with that. Go there with Cash in hand and you can probably get it for less. As IrvingkLaws points out the only concerning thing is the oil leak, unless he fixed it
Datsun Trucks are very popular overseas.
In fact they are extremely popular with Gypsies (oops, I should have said "Roma").
It is a huge stereotype to see a Gypsy selling watermelons from the bed of a Nissan Datsun truck in Europe.
They even featured one in the closing ceremony of a recent Olympic Games there.
