Housekeeping: Happy MLK Day
Hi y'all. We're off Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
You know the drill by now. We may post here and there, especially if news breaks, but otherwise we're back Tuesday. The podcast should pop next week -- ran into a couple of minor technical issues -- and we'll be steaming away. I will also be driving the KIA EV9 in California, so please feel free to toss questions about it my way.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

Segregation exists in the United States to this day. Just go to Ohio, Indiana or one of those other nameless northern dumps.
Shame what the woke movement has done to MLK jr's legacy. It's the complete opposite of being judged by the content of your character. Now it's opportunities based on anything and everything except merit. sigh.. Race to the bottom since 2009. I hoped Obama would be a victory lap for racial relations, instead he charted a new course of racial divide that accelerates daily. So sad
I wonder why some guy on the internet might think that a guy who earned straight As at Harvard Law School (which, by the way, grades exams blindly), while also doing a full-time job as EIC of the law review, is "incompetent" or "the poster child for the Peter Principle."
I can't possibly imagine why that might happen.
Some of you guys are just awful. I gave this site a break because of some of the right wing attitudes expressed here. Sorry I came back.
