Greetings from Cincinnati! This is the birthplace of the "can't do" attitude, terrible pro sports teams (but the college teams can be quite good), valley smog, ungodly humidity, race riots, chili with cocoa powder served over noodles and under 100 lbs of shredded cheddar cheese, and recently the neighborhood just north of downtown (Over-the-Rhine) was voted the most dangerous neighborhood in the USA!!! ...we're not proud of that. Detroit, East Saint Louis, and Camden, NJ must be cheering in the streets. For driving fans, though, Cincinnati has a ton to offer once you leave the one-cop-per-mile interstates. This metro area is VERY forested with a lot of hills and light traffic. Those with a Miata and move up from there can have a blast on an early Saturday morning on these roads. The nationally known Hocking Hills Region is just 100 miles to the east. The farm roads and canal paths north of here and Dayton are flat, straight, and there are more cows than cars. Plus you can drive about 12-15 miles south of downtown Cincinnati and pass Florence, KY and follow the signs to "Big Bone Lick State Park." ...I'm not making that name up. It's like Intercourse, PA. You must get your picture taken next to the sign. It looks good on the old Christmas card photo!!!
