Used Car of the Day: 1976 Ford Thunderbird
We here at TTAC love cars that get the "boat" designation, especially if they're also Malaise-era. This 1976 Ford Thunderbird would seem to fit the definition.
Coming to us by way of Indiana, this T-Bird has less than 23,000 miles on the clock. The seller says that it's been garaged and well cared for -- and wants $16,500 for it.
Eight cylinders of American with an automatic transmission. Front bench seat, sunroof -- yeah this car is pure '70s gold.
Literally, in a sense -- the paint job is gold and tan.
