  • Bd2 With the refresh, Genesis needs to stick in the larger battery (if it can fit) without raising the price. But until prices come down for the BEV, more buyers will be drawn to the upcoming EREV variant.
  • Bd2 Don't need to get the Prestige Package (the Advanced already skips over the 2 lower trims available with the ICE powertrains) and after Fed and state incentives, can get it for around $56k on a lease (probably closer to $50-51k with discounts). It's a better deal than the Lexus Rd 450e (starting at $60k) - having considerably more power (425 hp vs 308), considerably faster charging speed, greater range and a more luxurious interior.
  • VoGhost Cadillac has been dead for years. It got a reprieve from rappers' interest in the Escalade for a few years, but that is ancient history. I don't know anyone who aspires to drive a Cadillac. The showrooms are empty, but for a few old men who know this is their last big purchase. GM doesn't need to fix Cadillac; it needs to build great vehicles people want.
