GM Sticking With Electrification: Announces New Home Energy Solution And Battery Plant

General Motors remains committed to electrification and has recently made a couple of announcements to that effect. The automaker is launching a stationary home energy storage solution called the “GM Energy PowerBank” and has likewise noted it will be abandoning the Ultium name for its battery related technologies. However, CEO Mary Barra confirmed that the company remained committed to all-electric vehicles and is even building a new battery-cell development center in Warren, Michigan.

28-Cars-Later "We noticed that the current regulations in the United States are lacking." .I say this as someone whose life was saved by a seat belt 25 years ago... between passive safety such as six plus airbags in every newish car and the fact every person now driving knows about seat belts and has used them, at some point you have to let Darwin operate. IIHS is looking for something to justify itself in an age when at the very least it should be shrinking in size.
Tassos I have not seen any serious road rage incidents in MI, but I saw some in other states. I remember driving in Boston again, decades ago, and saw a Corvette driver mad at the taxi in front of him get out of his car and kick the driver's door of the taxi with his foot.
Carson D I haven't experienced any road rage incidents at all ever since I learned how to apply a PIT maneuver.
Lou_BC I was on a 4 lane highway this summer. Speed limit 100 kph. I was going 110 kph passing a small SUV. I look in my mirror and a F150 is so close on me I can't see his grill. I keep at the speed I'm going. I pass the small SUV. I was going to move over to let him by but the moment there was space he swerved into that lane. He pulled up beside me and started moving over. I kept the same speed. I did not budge. He then floors it and tries to cut me off. ....... ......... ......... What was odd about this was the year before in the same place, a fellow in a Chevy pulling a side by side on a trailer did slmost the same thing. He swerved to pass but almost lost control because his trailer started to wobble.
