2025 Subaru WRX tS First Drive -- Beating The Aftermarket

This is a Subaru WRX. If you’ve been anywhere near the base car (as a WRX buyer, at least) the stereotype says you’ll already be plotting Tien coilovers with spring rates similar to diamonds on the Mohs Hardness Scale, a nicer exhaust, and some Brembos pinching brake discs so big you could inscribe a lengthy epitaph to the STI on them.

  • Tassos https://carsandbids.com/auctions/KD0GLp1o/2005-lexus-ls-430 SERIOUS USED CAR OF THE DAY: WHILE I WOULD PREFER THE NEXT GEN 2007-2015 OR SO LS460, THIS OUTSTANDING, VERY LUXURIOUS, EXTREMELY RELIABLE FLAGSHIP WITH ONLY 60K OR SO MILES (WHICH MEANS BRAND NEW FOR A LEXUS!!!) JUST SOLD FOR A MERE $15K WORTHLESS, 2024, CACKLING KAMALA DOLLARS. TIM, READ AND LEARN. IF YOU CAN (YOU OBVIOUSLY CANNOT).
  • MaintenanceCosts Toyota, because once you have some time with hybrid powertrains under your belt the non-hybrid ones just start to seem sucky.
  • Jeff I would pick the analog Frontier with the V-6 much simpler and better reliability. Also the Frontier can usually be bought below MSRP making the price difference much greater than the Tacoma. The new Tacoma has had more than usual defects. For the money the Frontier is a more solid truck and will likely outlast the new Tacoma.
  • Rw33 Well Stellantis is making it impossible for Chrysler. They need products. The Voyager is not a new product. It's a cheap move just like keeping the Ram classic around to drive sales. Just lower the price to be more appealing. It's a better move than having the Pacifica and Voyager be the top seller for the rental market. I still don't understand why the 300 was neglected and ultimately cut. It would add scale with teh Charger line, plus that platform should serve (if rumors are correct) for an upcoming crossover, which I vote exclusively be used for Chrysler while the new Durango (or Stealth) be a different platform. I am in favor though of Dodge reabsorbing Ram. It's sad to think of CHrysler or Dodge being cut, but if they won't get new products and get prices in line then there's no hope
  • 28-Cars-Later "He said that the brands received a ten-year product plan when Stellantis was formed in 2021" Wait, there really is a plan?
