  • Theflyersfan I just watched The Topher on YouTube road test the brand new $135,000 750e xDrive. What I like about his drives is that he lets the car speak for themselves and it's a test drive through the screen. In this case, and keep in mind this guy is John Davis level of "it's all fine," he just starts ripping into this BMW. Too many menus, too many screens, difficult to find things, crummy voice commands, and even the auto open/close doors (really???) warranted some negatives. BMW has lost the plot so hard. I get it - China is the main market now. The US and EU are running for second place. But BMW only got this far based on their reputation, and they are in serious danger of burning that down. There's only so many generations of having "the ultimate lease machine" out there before people tire and move on. This BMW M5, while it has the heart, it's saddled with the body of a broken down offensive linesman who gained 300 pounds after retirement and is showing signs of CTE. They'll sell dozens in the US...
