.I say this as someone whose life was saved by a seat belt 25 years ago... between passive safety such as six plus airbags in every newish car and the fact every person now driving knows about seat belts and has used them, at some point you have to let Darwin operate. IIHS is looking for something to justify itself in an age when at the very least it should be shrinking in size.
TassosI have not seen any serious road rage incidents in MI, but I saw some in other states. I remember driving in Boston again, decades ago, and saw a Corvette driver mad at the taxi in front of him get out of his car and kick the driver's door of the taxi with his foot.
Carson DI haven't experienced any road rage incidents at all ever since I learned how to apply a PIT maneuver.
