Fisker Abandoned Its SoCal Headquarters and Left Quite a Mess

Bankruptcy often brings a good deal of chaos to a company’s last days in operation, which is exactly what happened as the hammer came falling down on Fisker. The electric automaker recently abandoned its Southern California headquarters, leaving behind a mess and creating opportunities for squatters to set up in the empty space.

  • Ashley Tayron? Who wouldn't want a vehicle named after a city in a brutal terrorist country?
  • Tassos in MI they passed a GREAT LAW a few years ago whrere, if you got health care, and it covers your hospitalization, and they give you a form letter every year stating that (they do it real fast, it's routine), your insurance goes down to practically ZERO, compared to some of the laughable numbers teens pay here. I never get collision (I drive with my EYES OPEN!) and the last three or so years I only pay $150 every six months. Maybe LESS, for my E class. In Cackling Kamala dollars, you realize this is ZERO. MY OTHER E class overseas, I insure it only for the months I live there, it is GREAT coverage, and I pay only about $30 A MONTH. They even came to my driveway and replaced my windshield once, 100% free, and I also get free road help if I ever need it.
  • Bd2 Just like for BEVs, biggest obstacle is price.Let's remember that it took about 2 decades for HEVs to achieve any real market demand, once prices came down where buyers would be able to recoup the extra cost within 2-3 years.
  • Tassos I always recommend Toyotas for friends who are NOT Auto Enthusiasts, but want a reliable car to go from A to B every day. They do not care if the styling SUCKS, as long as it drives safely and does not fail. ...................... But I will NEVER recommend this SILLY, WAY OVERPRICED TOY. Not only do I not care about ANY stupid breadvans, but if you really NEED one, get a SERIOUS Toyota, like the LANDCRUISER, the RAV4, the Highlander. MY guess is that most of these clowns that buy those crossovers would do MUCH better with the SIENNA MINIVAN, but they are too much "slaves to fashion" to get one. ALSO, the Sienna has grown too big for some users, maybe Toyota should offer a midsize minivan, a true MINIvan, but they should do their MARKET STUDY first and do it ONLY if it is promising sales-wise. CONCLUSION: TIM AGAIN STRIKES OFF. IF YOU ARE FOOLISH ENOUGH and have so little GOOD TASTE as to want this LEGO TOY of a car, go ahead, make my day, be a GOD DAMNED FOOL and BUY ONE. • SCE to AUX 61, wife is 59, Pittsburgh area. Erie Insurance for 35 years: 19 Ioniq EV ($628/yr), 22 Santa Fe ($646/yr). Very affordable for good coverage. I wonder how much insurance companies (not Erie) spend on advertising, and how many people are ready to jump, constantly shopping around. Must be worth it for the insurers and their new customers.
