Ford Aims for More Electric Drag Racing Records With New Mustang Super Cobra Jet 1800
NHRA drag racing is a sport purpose-built to deliver maximum noise and drama, but as it turns out, the show can be just as exciting without gasoline. The Association created an EV class last year, and Ford jumped into the action in 2020 with the electric Mustang Cobra Jet 1400. There’s a new version of the car for 2023 called the Mustang Super Cobra Jet 1800, which promises to expand on its predecessor’s record-setting runs.
