Junkyard Find: 1972 Chevrolet Vega Kammback
General Motors built more than two million Chevy Vegas, and they were everywhere on the roads of North America through about the second half of the 1980s. The Vega has been a junkyard rarity for decades now, but I just found six early Vegas all within a couple of rows of one another in a Denver self-service yard. Today, we'll look at the only wagon of that group.

Chevy Deletes 1LT Trim on Blazer EV, Report
A few days ago, we brought you news of the entry-level Blazer EV vanishing off the order sheet, a development caught by eagle-eyed fans and confirmed by General Motors. Now, the gearheads at Automotive News have learned the trim has been permanently deep-sixed for the 2024 model year.
Chevy Axes Entry-Level Blazer EV - For Now
The General is set to launch several new electric vehicles this year, including the Blazer EV. Used Car of the Day: 2017 Chevrolet SS
I love the idea of the Chevrolet SS -- a big, rear-drive sedan with V8 power and a manual -- though the one time I drove one, I was a bit letdown.
Still, I sometimes browse for one on the used-car market. This one caught my eye.

GM Doesn’t Rule Out Eventual Return for Bolt
It’s a common knock on GM that the company has a tendency to kill its darlings just as they get them right; look no further into history than the Pontiac Fiero and Cadillac Allanté as two good examples*. Some pundits muttered similar oaths about the all-electric Bolt when news surfaced that the model isn’t long for this world – but statements on an NPR podcast last week could give hope to the popular (and affordable) little EV.
2024 Chevy Camaro Wraps With Blacked-Out Collector's Edition
With the sixth-generation Camaro rounding out its final model year, Chevrolet has released the obligatory commemorative variant. The 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector’s Edition is effectively a blacked-out coupe whose real value lies in the prospect of it being extra valuable decades later due to its limited nature.

Chevrolet Silverado EV WT to Launch With 450-Mile Range
Chevrolet has announced that the all-electric Silverado will boast a much-higher maximum range than anyone had anticipated. Rory Harvey, General Motors' incoming president for North America, has stated that the Silverado EV Work Truck (WT) will have an EPA-estimated 450 miles of range 450 miles on a full charge. That’s far better than what its rivals are currently offering and exceeds earlier assumptions made by those watching the industry.
QOTD: How Affordable Does an EV Need to Be?
Today's Chevrolet Bolt news means that while the number of EVs on the market is growing overall, there aren't many EVs out there, at present, that would be considered "affordable."
