  • ToolGuy you listened to the stylists and not to me and now your sedan is dead
  • Jkross22 Tariffs 101 for people not aware.... it is a tax WE THE CUSTOMER PAY. The manufacturer doesn't pay the tax and not pass it on to us. The buyer's money goes to the taxing authority - Uncle Sam. There is nothing to do regarding China. The parasites in Detroit will kvetch, but they've been building and selling and importing out of the Chinese market for 20 years. Their tantrums are irksome as they sell Chinese made vehicles here, make them on the cheap and mark them up. They're not passing along any special deal to US consumers. Establishing marketing, reputation, service centers, etc will take billions to do for the Chinese brands, unless they partner with existing supply chains and GM/F/Hemi get their pound of flesh. Or maybe a big dealer group will make the jump first.
  • Jkross22 Unless your needs have changed, compensation increased or your ride has died, why would you buy/lease something new? $40k 4 cylinder Camrys are a thing. We're in want vs need territory considering there are no more 'basic rides' being sold new. The used market is too tempting right now, mostly due to the shellacking EV values are taking.
