Housekeeping: Merry New Year!
It's the last working day of the year, and we're going to shut down early so we can par-taaaay.
Or, in my case, veg on the couch watching football (go Irish!).
As per usual, there may be content over the weekend if news breaks or a regular feature comes in a bit late. Otherwise, though, we're off tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday. We'll be back at full steam on Tuesday, January 3rd.
Don't drink and drive, stay COVID-safe, be kind to one another, and again, don't drink and drive. Stay safe and we will see you next year.
And thanks to the great movie Trading Places for that headline.
Merry New Year!

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

All,
Happy New Year!
I hope TTAC wins back some of the audience, and I hope your podcast continues to grow. I don't pick favorites, but I want to specifically thank Corey Lewis for his historical series. They are well researched and presented. 👍️
