Jeep has dropped teaser images for the Mopar concepts it will be showcasing during this year's Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.

This is the 57th annual running of the event, which Jeep loves to use to show off concept vehicles. It takes place from April 1st through the 9th.

Jeep's press release is buzzword-heavy and there's almost no real detail to be gleaned -- the brand is still keeping specs and features close to the vest. That said, one thing did stand out: At least one concept will be an electrified 4xe model.

We'll report back if and when we get more details. Until then, you can check out these teaser images to tide you over.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

I'm not a fan of the open doors/open roof idea. It's nice if it isn't too hot or you aren't in mud or a bug infested forest/swamp.

Am I the only one that misses the totally awesome concept car programs of the past? Things like the Mustang Mach III, the Pontiac Banshee, the Ford GT90, the Dodge Copperhead (I still think they should have made this), etc. I can't stand digital renderings that don't actually get physical copies until they're nearly production ready.

  • Tele Vision Did someone run it through a car wash with the sunroof open? Did someone run it out of gas? Did someone barf a latté onto the center console? Real-world testing often isn't.
  • EBFlex Ford will waste money on anything other than improving their quality. They bought the train station that should have been demolished, they've wasted BILLIONS on EVs, and now this crap for the fake mustang. Farley has been an absolute disaster for Ford. Nassar was infinitely more competent.
  • Notsure So if I fold down the rear seats in a CX 90 does that make it a CX 70. Asking for tax purposes
  • KOKing Is it progress when you can use software to emulate an abused 250k mile Honda Civic manual transmission?
  • Tolljob I only listen to NPR, so I just look from 88.5 to 91.9
